The infusion set is one of the most normal disposable medical devices. The purpose of an IV set is to deliver the liquid (always the medicine) into the body through the bloodline. And it is widely used in kinds of animals and humans.

How to make an infusion set?

Here in the market, there are two ways to produce an infusion set, one is by automatic machine, one is by hand-made.

By using the automatic machine, it will produce each component directly and assemble well. But the machine always be very expensive and need huge space for it.

By hand-made, manufacturers can produce each components with different machines, then bring all the components to the assembling workshop. The workers will use cyclohexanone to connector all the components together.

After assembling, the infusion set will be packaged in the PE bag or blister pouch bag and sterilized by ethylene oxide.

After sterilization, the infusion sets are ready to be used by the doctors and nurses to cure people.
